Hello, I'm going to put tiles on the wall above the sink, when you put the adhesive on the wall (notched trowel) should there also be adhesive on the tile? I've seen and heard a bit different about it, what is best to do? with or without adhesive on the tile?

I have always driven without, just on the wall.

If you have large tiles, you should apply adhesive to both the wall and the tile.

Regular tiles just on the wall. If it's large format, you might double-bond. But it shouldn't be necessary above the sink if your tiles aren't like 60x120.

toothed trowel
How deep are the ridges on it, a "fixkam" is usually used for tiling instead:)

Thanks for all the answers, went with dubbellimmat.
