Tiles on concrete slab outdoors

Hello.
I have started tiling on the entrance slab which is concrete. Before I finished the first two rows today, it started to rain. I continued but the adhesive became very sticky and very runny. What consequences can it have if there is too much water in the adhesive?
P. S I am incredibly unhandy and would appreciate any help I can get!

It will take longer to dry and not be completely optimal in terms of strength, but it will be fine in the end.
