Hello.
I'm in the process of putting up tiles.
Can they be attached on top of the old tiles?
If this is possible, how do you make a neat finish since it may have built out
2-3cm in total?
A custom-made trim maybe?
Best regards

It's generally fine. Follow the instructions for the primer. You usually prime and sprinkle adhesive powder before drying, so the adhesive sticks.P Pappa1986 said:
We have tile on tile in the kitchen after the first tiler messed up the spacing. It looked nice on the edge with a nicely applied last grouting. No trim.
Ok, thanks for the response.elpaco said:

We have tile on tile in the kitchen after the first tiler messed up with spacing. It turned out nicely at the edge with a neatly applied final grouting. No trim.
The key is to get the grouting right in the end
And if I fail, I guess I'll just have to use a trim
If you want molding, you should probably plan for it from the beginning so the heights are right. But grouting is not difficult - smear it on, drag with your finger, wipe the tiles.P Pappa1986 said:
Thinking mostly because we have an "open ending"elpaco said:
The tiles don't go into the wall, so you see the edge and I'm wondering if it will look good when it's that thick?
