Hello,
In my kitchen, I have a wall that I want to tile for "decoration". It is not exposed to moisture in any way. It is currently painted. As you can understand from the title of the thread, the substrate is papered gypsum boards (with OSB board underneath). Now I'm wondering if it's possible to tile on papered gypsum. Will it hold? In other words, can the paper support the tiles? Will there be water damage from the adhesive? Or will it dry up without significant impact on the gypsum paper?
