Hello!

I was thinking that someone kind here on byggahus might be able to help me with a question.
I'm going to tile my laundry room in the basement, which currently consists of plastered hollow stone.

The plaster is not in the best condition, so I'm considering, as the headline says, maybe tearing it off and tiling directly on the hollow stone?
Is this possible, or do I need to skim the wall to make it even?

Grateful for answers
Best regards/Emil

depends on what type of plaster it is.
lime or "cement" plaster

It is kalk puts as far as I know!

B
ugh. tricky food that. would bet on knocking down.
otherwise, it'll be priming that might not work.

But it's no problem to tile directly onto the perforated brick afterwards, do you think?

B
Sorry. I think you need to start with something.
