Hello,
I'm in the process of bidding on a house that hasn't been inspected. Apparently, things are moving quickly.
I'm not entirely sure about the basement and attic myself.

Do you see anything in these pictures that really stands out as a concern?
Something that could become an expensive issue right from the start, or could it be fixed gradually?
Such as sealing around the chimney, possibly replacing roof tiles, or redoing the drainage.

Or should a property inspection be arranged ASAP.

Peeling paint on a blue wall, exposed wires and a meter box in a basement or utility room, indicating potential renovation needs.
Basement room with a workbench, window with curtains, and overhead lighting. Potential inspection concerns like sealing around windows may be needed.
A basement shelf with various cleaning products, a vent on the blue wall, and pipes on the ceiling. The image assesses potential renovation needs.
Floor drain with pipes visible alongside a sink and mop in a basement or utility area. Potential inspection concerns discussed in forum post.
View from inside a house showing a window with slight wear, looking out towards a garden and driveway. A red and blue plaid shirt hangs nearby.
A water meter with pipes and valves in a basement corner, surrounded by a wall with peeling paint and a dusty floor.
Attic corner with wooden paneling, exposed beams, insulation, and chimney pipe; potential issues with sealing or roof tiles suggested.
Wooden attic beams with potential water damage, suggesting need for inspection.

Talked to the real estate agent now.
There will be an inspection before we possibly sign.

Wise

Thank you :-)
