Hello!

A while ago, I removed the wall between two smaller closets to create a larger one. Now I've finally gotten around to installing sliding doors for the closet.
The problem, however, is that the opening is 114cm and the smallest sliding door option is 125cm. The question now is if it's possible to remove 11-13 cm on the left side, simply carve out the concrete to make room for the sliding tracks and doors. The concrete is very porous, so drilling/removing a few centimeters shouldn't be a problem?

Thoughts and other solutions are welcome! I'm attaching a picture so you can see the whole situation. Hallway with open closet shelves filled with clothes, a white stool on the right, a laundry basket, and visible concrete floor.

is it not possible to mount the sliding doors on the outside?

att montera skjutdörrarna utanför går inte?
Sure, it would work, but I think it would look extremely strange?
