Hello

The summer cottage is on sinking pilings. Over the past 60 years, more blocks have been added each year. Now some of them look like this. How can this be resolved permanently? Should I dig out, fill with crushed rock, compact, and cast a new pillar all the way up? Please suggest what materials are needed and if it's easy to do it yourself? Is a mini excavator needed, for example? What type of concrete? Does ground screw work? The ground is a bit marshy and close to water.

  • Concrete pillar under cottage surrounded by grass, showing signs of instability and wear with wooden blocks on top.
Is there no one who can give advice on how to fix it?

It completely depends on what kind of soil conditions you have.
