We have planned to tile a part of the kitchen, unfortunately, it can't be done now as the plastering and filling are done, so it will have to wait a bit. Is it just as good to tile on top of a painted surface as directly on plaster/filler?

Ideally, we would like to paint the areas until it's time to tile. (a simple primer is fine, just so it looks less unfinished), maybe there's even paint that makes it better to adhere the tiles to later?

no one who has done?

I have thought about doing the same. I don't think it should be a problem, but I am interested in what others might suggest.

Use some kind of primer in that case. I painted with Beckers Snickerislip, and there were no problems. It was four years ago and it hasn't come off yet at least. Ask the paint dealer.
