Hi, is regular masonite fine for the air gap, or does it need to be tempered?

Raw lumber all day long, masonite absorbs moisture, cheaper and better with raw lumber.

Regular masonite works fine

It seems to vary how people view it, anyone else who can confirm that regular masonit is good enough?

if there is an air gap under the råspont, regular works, but if it is to be placed there instead of råspont, it should be oil-hardened
