Hello hello.

Should you tape the gaps in the joints between the plasterboards on the outer wall?
What kind of tape do you use?

Otherwise, there are H-profiles that can be placed in the joints - if one insists on using outdoor plasterboard instead of Windy...

Those H-lists seem to be a bit tricky to put in place.

The H-piece is useful if you need to join the boards vertically and don't have a stud behind the joint. If the joints are between a stud and battens, no tape is needed, if the battens cross over the joints, it is suitable to use tape to seal the joints. Silver-gray woven tape with good adhesion. Styx, exterior gypsum provides a wind-resistant wall, unlike Windy.

Styx, utegips ger en vindstyv vägg, det ger inte typ Windy.
I guess you mean torsionally rigid wall, and then the internal OSB + plaster gives the same effect..

If you mean wind stiff, we usually put some form of facade outside the Windy, so the wall also becomes wind stiff. ;)

No, I mean wind resistant. It often takes a while before you can install interior cladding, and in the meantime, you need to ensure the wall's stability against the elements. A paneling, for example, does not provide that stability, so with something like Windy, you need to add strapping or similar wind bracing to ensure you don't end up with a leaning house. With Gu, you get that built-in.

If you have a rule behind the seams, nothing more is needed. If you are joining short side to short side and get a good fit, I don't think anything else is needed either. After all, it's just for stiffening and as wind protection, so it doesn't need to be airtight.

If it takes a while until you put up the facade, it's worth taping the gaps and screw holes with duct tape.
Definitely on the seams you've cut (i.e. those that are open).

Is it not possible to use "innegipsskiva" instead of utegipsskiva on the outside of the house/garage with a wooden facade? What would be the essential difference in the gypsum and what could happen if you still quickly mount the wood panels on the facade?
