As the title suggests, is it possible to add a new window in an old log house?
I'm renovating a room on the upper floor and would get a very nice view if it were possible.
I know I need to apply for permission, but I wanted to check if it's possible at all before starting that process. I've searched and read some threads that give both yes and no answers. I thought it might depend on the specific "construction," so I'm creating a new thread about mine. I'm attaching a picture of the wall I found when I tore away the tretex, the idea is for the window to be on the left side of the door.

You need a gåt and a sword, so the wall doesn't bend. Or well, you probably need two of each.
