Hi. I am renovating the slab. I have chiseled and dug down 40 cm in one of the rooms and now see that a partition wall I thought was load-bearing (with foundation below) was just standing on the old slab and will collapse when I start digging on the other side of the partition wall. Construction is 10 cm lightweight concrete.
QUESTION: Can I build up a ledge or support wall to hold the partition wall in place to avoid tearing it down? The problem is that ALL the piping goes through it - if I have to tear it down, I would first have to reroute all the water to the boiler... it would enormously delay/increase the cost of my project.
