I'm building a sauna and need advice on how to attach the supports for the sauna benches to the wall.
The wall construction from the outside into the sauna:
Masonry 70mm leca block reinforced with steel every 3rd course
30 mm kingspan sauna satu insulation board
22mm nail battens
15mm panel
I'm now considering the supports for the sauna benches.
My idea is to follow the illustration with a crossbeam in a carved-out insulation board and a support beam on the panel that the detachable benches rest on.
Questions for the forum:
Tips on anchors for attachment? How many anchors? Attach in the middle or at the top?
Will it create unnecessary moment force if the sauna benches rest on top of the support beam?
