Supply air valve for insulated garage wall, how?
Hello!
I am planning to install air intake vents on either side of the garage door, in the wall. I checked my neighbor’s garage, and they have a square galvanized grille on the outside. I went to the building supply store and looked at this, but I can't quite figure out how to assemble the entire ventilation system, i.e., an outer grille, some sort of pipe in the middle, and then a vent on the inside.
The galvanized one was completely square and didn't have any spigot or something to connect the pipe to. And what should I use for a vent on the inside? The angry carpenter rejected those disk vents as they didn't provide a proper airflow from one side of the building to the other; he advocated for fresh vents instead. But they also rely on a system with an inner vent, an outer vent, and a pipe in between. We want galvanized vents on the outside.
Tips, help?

There are galvanized exterior wall grilles with duct connections.
Here is an example on classe: http://www.clasohlson.com/se/Ytterväggsgaller/Pr363688000
There are cheaper ones at other places.

Hello!
I've installed a 'fresh' model vent several times, so that's not an issue. I've also installed a number of disc model vents, so that's not a problem either.
However, I find it very unattractive to have fresh vents almost at floor level in a garage. As we've planned the ventilation (by looking at several neighbors' newly built (by carpenters) garages), you have two galvanized vents low on the front side and then two galvanized vents high up on the back side. Additionally, fresh vents are quite expensive and a bit luxurious to have in a garage...
That might explain the matter that I only checked at Byggmax, where they only had those square galvanized vents, but I didn't find any items that matched for conduits and vents on the inside. Possibly they are good for uninsulated garages.
What I think fits best on the inside is a white plastic grille, but they seem to be only for outdoor use. But we will probably ignore that.
Then I'll head to a more well-stocked construction store... thanks for the help.
