Winter is approaching, the drying room is built and needs to be furnished.

Approximately 18cm from the wall gable, I want to place a 134cm long wooden beam between the long sides.

On this, I want to have 3-4 retractable clotheslines. The length of the lines might be 2.5 meters.

Retractable clothesline with four lines extending from a mounted cylinder, designed for drying clothes indoors.

What dimension should the beam be? I guess I shouldn't use pressure-treated wood.

I would like U-shaped brackets to attach the beam to the long sides, but I can't remember what they're called right now?

Well, when I googled it, I did indeed find some women in their bras which wasn't wrong, but I was thinking of "balksko."

Looking for a suitable rule (measurement) and balksko. :)
