I wanted to see if anyone has suggestions for a decent solution to hide cables like the one in the picture.
Mine looks like it's been hanging like that for a few decades, but it needs to be concealed now.
Is sheet metal the way to go or are there cable channels for outdoor use?
Feel free to share ideas!
That wasn't very pretty, no... It's simplest with a U-profile on the lower part, but it should definitely be rerouted completely because it can't look nice running it over the window ledge... You can install a junction box and splice higher up to make it reasonable.
I didn't think about extending with a box either.
I have attached a U-profile on the lower part. But just as you said, it will be difficult to make it look nice over the window sill.
I have a cable TV cable installed in roughly the same way. Sigh
