Hello, I am going to buy a new air/air heat pump and might also move the indoor unit, which will leave a hole in the wall where the old one was (pipe passage). Now I'm looking for tips/suggestions on how to cover this hole to get a decent interior?
Anyone who has done this before or has any ideas, please bring them forward now =)

Ah, that's what you meant I understood it as if you thought it was mostly about the outside
It's some type of wood (we bought the house recently so haven't done anything with the walls yet, so I'm not sure what's behind, whether they had a wood panel or actually wooden boards as they did in the past). I know the owner said the electricians weren't happy as they had to "notch" out channels to lay cable at some point.
Cover plate for electrical box maybe, depending on the hole diameter!

This is about rather small holes 1/4"-3/4". But I have cover plates as an option, just need to modify them a bit first Was thinking if there is something nicer. I don't know yet where the hole will be as the inner part hasn't been removed yet, so I don't know if a picture will fit either
