Hello.

I am in the process of rebuilding the entrance to the house.
And the nearest building supply store is Jem&Fix.

I have purchased a bunch of stringers that I thought would be easy to build with.
But I have now realized that these are tricky to use.

When I measure them, I find that each step is 165mm high.
Which complicates things with covering boards that are 170.

I will also have to build a couple of my own stringers.
And for this, I bought 45x170 material.

Is it just me being silly?
Or does Jem&Fix have stringers with odd measurements?

Their website doesn't say anything about dimensions (they have the worst website you can have in 2014).
But everywhere else that sells them, it says "Step height - 170mm."

Should I return them and buy others, or am I thinking about this the wrong way?
