Straighten wall, lay multipor

I will straighten the wall in the basement that will become a bathroom, and insulate 5 cm internally with Multipor.

What order of work is recommended?

Smooth the wall, mount the Multipor?

Or is it possible to smooth the wall after installing the Multipor?

As the pictures show, there is previous wood wool that ends a bit below the floor on one wall, and in the middle on another.

Should it be cut so there is insulation on the entire wall?

Haven't gotten there yet, but will probably straighten the wall first, then apply multipor 👌
