I have a 90 cm wide staircase to the upper floor and am planning to build a storage space in the ceiling above, about 40 cm high. I plan to construct this as a particle board box that rests on beams I place between the walls, with the underside covered in plasterboard.

One wall is a plaster wall with wooden studs and the other is a concrete wall. It will be easy to attach my beams to the plaster wall, but how do I do it on the concrete wall?

I plan to attach a longitudinal beam to it and then fasten the cross beams to it, but what do I use to attach the beam to the concrete wall? Nail anchor, expansion bolt, or something else? Or is the whole construction idea unwise?

Bet on screwing and use concrete plugs.
