I'm going to build a shed that is 2.5x1 meters. The back side will be built against my existing garage, and on the front, I want as large a doorway as possible. I want to make double doors that are 1 meter each, so the opening will be a total of 2 meters. Is a 145x45 beam sufficient above the door when the opening is 2 meters? I also plan to use 145x45 for the posts. For the roof, I will have a regular metal roof sloping down towards the front.

With only a 1m roof, it might manage. However, a 45*175 is a bit safer.
Very unfortunate if the doors can't be opened in 3-4 years due to sagging.

It was 2m, right, and 145 is more than enough.
There's no load to speak of, unless there is a lot of snow on it that you let stay.
