Hey!
Here I am trying to list all the materials that need to be ordered and lifted up to the upper floor when the house arrives. One thing I am wondering about, though, is how I should (or must) handle the exterior walls when finishing the upper floor. These come pre-insulated from the factory with chipboard on. My question is whether I have to do what many others do and add studs on the chipboard (I assume 45x45) to then add another layer of board material?

I assume it facilitates installations and such, but is it absolutely necessary? I had only planned for drywall on the exterior walls, but now I'm uncertain.
This concerns the upper floor of a Hjältevadshus Spira 194.

Many thanks in advance!
