Steel beam

Hello!
I need help calculating the dimensions of the steel beam that will support a 6 m wall. The wall is load-bearing and needs to be removed. Is there any software or similar tool where I can get the dimensions?
I've talked to several building supply stores and carpenters, but no one dares to say anything.

One should keep in mind that a 6m span becomes quite a hefty beam that often needs to be substantially inserted into the existing floor structure. Not always so easy if you're just demolishing a wall, in other words.
