Standing OSB on horizontal studs (installation layer)?

Currently working on building up new surfaces in a couple of rooms that will get new OSB and gypsum. The interior walls went smoothly where I attached 600 mm OSB Ergo boards (panels with tongue and groove) horizontally between the vertical studs. When I then turned to the exterior walls, I realized that the horizontal studs of the installation layer (45x45) have a cc of 450 to fit with 900 mm OSB panels.

Since I already have the 600 mm OSB at home and they have been acclimatizing, I wonder if anyone knows whether you can attach these vertically to the horizontal studs? I can't find any information in the installation instructions.

They are not intended to be mounted standing, but it works just as well.

I can't see any problems with that. Just ensure that the plasterboard doesn't have the joints in the same place. When two plasterboards are edge to edge, they should both be screwed into the same OSB board.
