I am renovating a bathroom and need some extra studs and it turns out that the studs' dimensions are 44x68 instead of the 45x70 that are available everywhere. The house was built in 1974 (by SIAB) and there are probably 100 similar houses in the area.
What are these dimensions?
I guess I'll have to buy 45x70 and use them the other way as noggings?
Or?
Does anyone recognize this?

P.S

go down to the lumber yard and measure a 45x70 and you'll see what it is. there are quite rough tolerances sometimes.

A planer is a jointer and thicknesser, and then take a 45X70 down to 44X68 since you are not talking about large quantities.
