Hello,

Does anyone have tips on how to handle the carpentry part when installing wooden stair railings? The angles are probably not very standard, as the incline also comes into play? Is there a good guide online, perhaps?

We bought standard dowel rods by the meter and mounted them with brackets on the wall. One section per wall, meaning they are not connected at the corners. The handrails were stained in a teak-like color and then varnished with polyurethane lacquer.

In our U-staircase, we have a hand-turned rod made of some unknown type of wood that is lacquered. It's mounted on the bottom and middle wall with chrome L-shaped brackets, and at the top, you can brace against the bookshelf.
