Hello,
I'm currently fixing some fairly crooked and sloping masonry walls by installing 45mm metal studs on the outside to make it straight instead of applying a LOT of plaster...
The thing is, I find the walls feel quite flimsy with the 45 studs. I have other freestanding walls that I've built with 70 metal studs and they feel much more stable. I'm installing OSB and then gypsum, and I've only installed OSB so far, but at the joints, you can move the boards apart in depth in the middle of the wall because the "flange" on the stud flexes.
Is this okay or should I try to stabilize the studs before installing OSB? If so, how? A wooden stud in the metal stud at the studs where the OSB joint is?

Yes, maybe it does? That's a bit of my question, if it's something to worry about that it feels "wobbly" after just OSB?
