I am going to list and have a 14.5 cm high baseboard and 7 cm casing, and I want to have a square kickboard at all door openings like they used to have. What dimensions do you think I should use? And what type of wood should I buy to saw these from? Were they usually completely smooth or with some structure? I have white traditional moldings that I will put up.
