Hello
I will soon be buying some masterboard sheets for our bathroom. The problem is that our staircase is very narrow, making it difficult to get plasterboard, etc., up without scratching ugly marks on the walls. Does it matter if I cut the boards in half, so you get 2 pieces that are 120*125 if the original board is 120*250? It shouldn't make much difference, right? Can you cut masterboard with a circular saw? Or what is the easiest way? I was thinking of buying the cheapest option if so.

Sure, you can share it, but you should have a "kortling" as support behind the joint. You can snap it or saw it with a circular saw, but of course, that will wear out the blade quite a bit.

Okay, good to know. What's the best and easiest way to cut the masterboard? Like with gypsum, score with a knife and snap, or can you use regular hole saws with increased wear as well?

Yep, score it properly and snap over an edge placed just under the score.

Hole saws work well.
