Splice stringers + chipboard cold space?
An angled staircase then? A platform at the top, a staircase straight outward to a platform halfway down, and then another staircase directed towards the house for the last part. Then maybe you can avoid splicing the staircases as well...
Or an indoor staircase?
Or an indoor staircase?
What do you mean by a staircase directed towards the house? I'm not following. But I think there is no room; to the right in the picture is a fence all the way (it is partially visible in the picture), "behind" the picture (that is, behind my back where I stood when I took the picture) is another outbuilding, and to the left in the picture is the driveway to the yard. The yard is square, with houses on two sides and a fence on one (hedge and road on the last side). If you're driving into the gate, you come from the left in the picture and turn in near where the staircase is intended to be… An indoor staircase is not possible, unfortunately; otherwise, that would have been preferred.useless said:

Have you considered a galvanized spiral staircase? Seems like the most suitable option in your situation.
Sure, it wouldn’t be perfect (I perceive them as quite steep and narrow, which doesn’t exactly match our needs) but it might work. However, it doesn't fit with my budget unfortunately.Fjojtmehmet said:
Is it possible to build a platform under the door, that "sticks out" on the right side (over the fence), and place stairs along that wall (towards the red wall at the far end of the picture)? How difficult is it? (Realistically now, I am not and will never be a craftsman.) Can - or should - the stairs/interior stringer be attached to the wall? If so, how? What do you need to make the platform secure, posts under the outer corners + attached to the wall, or what? How do you attach it to the wall? Can you place a post a bit inside the corner (the one that gets in the way of the gate)?
How do you build and attach a platform up there without having a staircase?
Posts that are meant to support, how do you stabilize the ground under them? Ground anchors, or do you have to cast? (I have never cast anything...) Or is it enough to lay stones underneath? (This is Skåne, so ground frost isn't really a major issue here.)
