Hello!

I am wondering how to solve the problem if you have a downspout that does not go straight down into the sewer pipe.
Water and leaves hit the cup in the funnel, causing the entire cleaning funnel to eventually fall off the pipe.

  • A white downspout misaligned with a trap funnel, causing water and leaves to hit it and dislodge it, next to a wooden wall and rocks.
Would definitely dig up and adjust so the ground pipe comes up straight under the downspout. Then I'm wondering how the pipes are laid further considering how it looks... 🤔

Hmm, is the downspout really supposed to connect there? It looks like a drainage pipe that comes up by the house.

There are exactly the same pipes + cleaning funnels in five other places (3 at the front of the house and 2 at the garage), which lead water away from the downspouts, so it feels like they are underground drainage pipes. However, the others are not as slightly misplaced as this one.

Maybe one like this?

Thanks! Looks like a solution. I'll try to find one in white metal. However, it doesn't seem to be available at the hardware stores.

According to the link, it's in stock in almost all stores.

Edit: Missed the meralldelen. So forget it.

Dig up, fold down the pipe, and attach a bend that goes above ground. Probably the only thing that will look nice.

Or dig up and install some type of brunnsgaller, but then there will be more dirt in the pipes.
