I have searched for information on the Byggmax website as well as Moelven, which is the supplier at the moment, to see if it is OK to splice between the joists with Byggmax's flooring chipboard. I made the mistake of asking two different staff members and got two different answers. I have an old house that does not have cc 60 but rather cc 65 ± a few cm. Any experiences since the last thread on this topic was closed in 2007.

I don't have floor chipboard from Byggmax but it shouldn't differ in quality that much! But it's completely OK to splice between the joists, just glue according to the instructions.
