Span of joists upper floor, cross bracing etc?

Built a pole with a shoe and caught it to be able to tension the floor. Haven't had time to drill the hole in the floor yet. But hope it helps.
The room becomes very difficult to furnish, but oh well.

Can't you just sketch the room's/house's dimensions and appearance on plain paper, preferably both from the side and from above? Just scan or photograph and upload. I also have a very hard time truly understanding how things are interconnected.
