Need a few tips on a good solution.
I have the office in the basement lounge which is about 3.5x8 m and I have the office in the last 2.5 meters. Currently, I only have a curtain dividing it, mounted on a ceiling track so it can be opened. The problem is that it doesn't absorb sound. Installing a permanent wall is not an option. Is there a simple solution to consider? I've looked into sliding doors and heavier textiles.
One problem is that the divider goes right into a radiator, a water-based one, which I don't want to move, and I can't move the divider either because then it would end up in a window. It won't be a good solution no matter what I do, but it doesn't have to be perfect. I just need it to be quiet in the office, preferably cheaply as well.
Any ideas?
