Some help with material selection

Hello everyone,

I've looked through the threads regarding this, but I feel like I'm not quite getting answers to my questions...

I'm going to tear off the Tretex in my rooms and replace it with gypsum for the outer layer. Against the exterior walls, I'm going to insulate with 45mm, place OSB and gypsum, and on the interior walls, I'll place the gypsum directly on the raw planking. Behind the Tretex on the exterior walls, there is currently a paper on the planking.

What material should I use on the raw planking on the exterior walls? New paper? Vapor barrier?

Should I place any additional material between the insulation and the OSB/gypsum?

Only if you have sawdust as insulation in the wall do you need paper, otherwise you can skip it. Put up the studs and insulation. Then OSB and drywall.

Don't forget to seal at all corners/edges, i.e., along the ceiling and floor, wall corners, thresholds/windows.
If there was a wind barrier on the wall before, it was there for a good reason.

I will check a bit more with the professionals to see what they say, but my colleague who renovated the kitchen removed his papp, as he has the same wall construction as me.

I actually have the same opinion as you, but I have no evidence for it.
