Hello,
A while ago I sanded and white soaped my floors. I have now built a small box of wood lamella and planed timber. I'm considering whether to paint it or white soap it to get the same look as the rest of the floor. What I'm wondering is if it's okay to apply white soap directly on the wood lamella and the planed timber, or if I need/should sand it first to "roughen" the surface so that the wood can absorb it?
