My carport is very unevenly asphalted, sloping perhaps 15-20 cm and needs to be filled up. I was thinking of laying down old cement slabs, a reinforcement mesh and then smoothing out a couple of square meters at a time. The carport will only be used for storage and needs to be smooth enough for a pallet jack. Byggmax gjuta fin and brocka. Thoughts?
Can work, but concrete does not adhere to asphalt, it will just lie like a cake on top.
There will probably be some places where the concrete will go into nothingness as it's called, and there it will surely crack under point load from e.g. a pallet truck or anything else that presses on a small area.
