It's soil/clay, but how the heck do I get it to stop smelling so awful!

The crawl space will be removed and replaced with a poured slab, but what about trapping the smell under the slab?

I've tried to read a bit about MVOC and streptomyces etc.

Ozone works but only temporarily.
Fungicide in liquid form, well, maybe have tested but don't know the results yet and not particularly good for the environment.

Disinfectant - There are several kinds, MVOC, Biofresh, but will it work?

Shoveling soil has been partially done, but not everything can be removed and it's worst along the foundation wall (natural stone).

What should I do, and do I need to do anything?!
