Time to replace the roof on the small cottage which has a gable end of 3.30 meters and is 9 meters long. Later this year or next, we might start repainting the villa, and it would be great to have a scaffold that can stand for months without stress. I also have a significantly larger and taller barn than the cottage.
Width: 3.07 -6.14 m
Depth: 73 cm
Platform height: 2.0-4.5 m
Working height: 4.0-6.5 m
Questions:
If I add the toeboard package and climb up with a ladder, is there anything I'll still be missing? The feet are adjustable and it includes loops for attaching to the wall.
Is it possible to get it for less than just over 18,000 SEK (shipping is just over 2,000)? I live in Sollentuna in Stockholm and might be able to pick it up with a trailer and drive to the Katrineholm area if there are competitors in northern Stockholm.
Beginner, is the platform height in any way continuously adjustable between 2-4.5 meters or are there just a few fixed positions?
Can this type of package be easily transported on a regular trailer? The weight is just over 200 kg in aluminum.

Hello,
It was a bit difficult to see on the website, but from what I could interpret, it seems to be a frame scaffold.
A frame scaffold consists of ready-made frames that are, for instance, 2 meters high, and the height can only be adjusted with the feet.
The platforms can therefore only be placed on top of the frame, unlike, for example, a Haki scaffold which consists of posts and beams that can be installed at any height.
For facade work such as painting, plastering, etc., a frame scaffold works well, but for roof work, you want the scaffold to come just under the eaves, and a frame scaffold is usually not suitable for that.
There are “copies” of Haki that are cheaper than the original.
You have significantly more use of a Haki plus you can get a greater depth on the scaffold.
Keep an eye out for used haki or similar scaffolding so you get a much more useful structure that can also handle some loads.
Another disadvantage with frame scaffolding like the one you're looking at is that they are difficult to build unless the ground is relatively flat. If the level difference is too large from one end to the other, you won't be able to compensate for it with the screws on the feet and still get the scaffolding level (which is a must for safety reasons).
Good luck!
