small question about measurements between beams
hi, I'm in the process of drawing my house and have drawn it so there's a 600mm gap between each beam because on bygghemma.se it says their cell foam is 60cm wide.
A small image that explains a bit better: http://data.fuskbugg.se/skalman02/60cc.png
which is correct? 60 or 57.75
and here's the link to the insulation: http://www.bygghemma.se/utomhus/byg...e-for-grund--tak--och-fasadisolering/p-165789

If the foam insulation is 600mm wide, you should naturally have exactly 600mm BETWEEN the beams. This can get a bit confusing since a standard construction typically has a center-to-center distance of 600mm. This means the distance between beams becomes 555mm, which is the usual width for insulation. In your case, the center-to-center distance will instead be 645mm.
It doesn't matter too much as long as you don't plan to install other building materials with standard dimensions. If you try to, for example, install standard plywood sheets on the inside, they won't reach between the studs.

That product is probably not intended to be mounted between studs. Where they mention facade insulation, they are likely envisioning a continuous layer, for example, outside the stud framework.
