Looking for some inspiration for my upcoming sloped ceiling wardrobe. You know, the classic 1.5-story house with windows on the gables and wardrobe space along the sloped ceiling, full height at the front and about 50cm at the back. The wardrobe will have sliding doors. I can't think of a practical solution for the interior. Hoping someone can provide some picture inspiration! Need help! //desperate home fixer with loads of clothes!! (Stina)

It depends on the depth what works, but this is how I furnished a closet along the sloped ceiling wall: a shelf at the top (I found brackets that can be adjusted for angle a long time ago, don't remember where, but otherwise, I've made my own). The shelf is at a suitable height so you can place a rod for clothes underneath. Wire baskets on wheels below. Maybe you could place pockets for shoes on the sloped ceiling above the wire baskets? Unfortunately, I have no pictures, it was in a previous house, but I am sending along an ugly little picture, hope it's understandable.

I understand exactly!! Thank you so much! It'll probably have to be something similar!//Stina:)

Hello! We also have a similar house, but we chose IKEA wardrobes which we placed about three meters out from the low wall (our low wall is 900mm high). The wardrobes are angled with a corner section, thus they also cover part of the inner wall that is straight (not sloping ceiling). The corner section provides a lot of storage space. The wardrobes are about 2.30 m high and the front edge is intact, but the back edge and sides we have cut at an angle along the roof slope. The interior is like a regular IKEA wardrobe with shelves, drawers, baskets, and hangers. We are super satisfied! / Lena
