I don't really know where this thread belongs, so I'm trying here. We have bought a newly built condominium with a glazed balcony measuring 4x1.5m. We quickly noticed that the slope of the balcony is noticeable and upon measurement, we can confirm that the drop height is 3.5 cm at the outer edge, about 1.4m from the house wall. From what I understand, a 1:100 slope is the recommended incline for a balcony - but where is the actual upper limit? Since the balcony is glazed, no significant drainage is required.

I don't have the maximum in my head, but surely someone else here does. However, 1:100 is the minimum. So the balcony should be 15 mm lower at the front, and that's how they are manufactured. The balconies almost always settle a bit more when all the formwork is removed, but 20 mm more on your balcony sounds a bit much. The fact that it is glazed doesn't matter.

It's not surprising that it feels like it's sloping, but I believe you would have noticed even if it were just 15 mm. If you have room to lay wood or plastic tiles, that's a good way to obscure the slope.
