Thinking about expanding the cabin. The extension will be on pillars, wooden beams, and will have a sliding door with two doors (25 x 21).
Is there anything specific to consider to ensure the doors don't jam in the long run?
I'm thinking about the construction of the frame since wood tends to move

Built into the wall. Didn't even know it was possible to build it on the outside
I have installed sliding doors, quite a large section, in my summer cottage. Over the years, the doors have increasingly jammed and eventually it was difficult to open them. The cause was that the foundation (crawl space foundation) slowly settled, visible in other areas too, such as wallpaper wrinkling. What I had to do was lift the support beam that the window section rested on and shim it up with wedges, and that solved the problem. So my tip is: make sure the window section rests on as stable a foundation as possible!
Exterior wall.
