Angle screwing
Yeah, I mean in the general discussion about posts concerning why it turned out the way it did, with enthusiasts who didn't really answer your question. Which is indeed quite interesting. The thread has evolved from the original problem. But now the conditions that applied have already emerged.Studion said:
Did you reply in the wrong thread now maybe? Or what was this in response to?MaxPax said:
The counter-reply is as simple as it is obvious. One doesn't exclude the other.
So it was a good tip? But you hadn't asked "how do I get the right distance between the beams". You got upset over the other tips you received. But in this case, it was good that someone went outside the question.Studion said:
No, you've misunderstood completely. I wanted answers on how long and how many screws I needed, and if I needed to supplement with screws through the sill plate and the top plate, which no one wanted to answer. Instead, people wanted to point out that there were other ways, which I wasn't interested in, since I had already decided to drive in screws at an angle.andersmc said:
Getting tips is great, but I'm going to drive in screws at an angle and am therefore not interested in other methods, which I made clear from the start. It's clearly stated in my first post. "I will drive in screws at an angle." Not "I'm considering," "I might," or "should I drive in screws at an angle?"
Is everyone clear now?
Now, this is a forum for building enthusiasts. A large group of individuals who contribute their knowledge based on professional life and experiences. Together, they exchange ideas back and forth to come up with the best solution to building problems.Studion said:
All the collected threads thus become an enormous free (!) searchable knowledge base for future builders with solutions to all conceivable and inconceivable problems.
To get free (!) help with your problems, you are therefore expected to answer follow-up questions about the issue from the assembled group. Because the answer to the question should not only help you but also future builders who are not expected to know how to build an interior wall in the best way.
If you're going to complain about the service and act tiresome towards people trying to help you do the job in the best way, then you might as well go to a building supplies store and pay for it, as probably only people who get paid can put up with your attitude.
