I am working on building a garage and in one part I want a vaulted ceiling to get a higher ceiling height, so I plan to use a glulam beam as a ridge beam and lay the rafters on it. The rafters will be 45x195 cc600, and the garage is 7m deep. The span of the glulam beam will be 4.2m, with a 30° roof pitch, snow load zone 2.5. A 115x270 glulam should be strong enough, right? It will be supported at both ends by 3 screw-glued 45x145 studs all the way down to the concrete slab.

I've been searching for different design software but can't find anything useful.
