we are in the process of fixing up our laundry room in the basement after we laid new drainage pipes in the foundation slab. house built in '47. the previous owner installed a toilet in a "stall" that they cast in place with a small gap between the floor and wall. we need to demolish it to lay tiles. the toilet can stay for now. works well as an extra toilet.
the question is how can we build a new small partition wall? maybe not all the way up to the ceiling for light purposes.
we won't always have the toilet there, but in the future will move it to another space. but some kind of privacy might be needed?
are there any smart solutions? or is it just about framing a sturdy wall?
