Hello,
I'm furnishing a loft, I'm installing the last 45s on the exterior walls and have partitioned the loft with a dividing wall + door. Once I've finished installing, I'll contact my electrician who will show/draw how to lay pipes and set boxes (he'll come later to pull the wire/connect), my question is if I can pre-sheet the "simple" dividing wall before I call the electrician? (He's hard to get hold of, so it might be quicker to ask here...) I'm planning to have plaster on one side and OSB + plaster on the other, if I can pre-sheet - which side is more convenient to do from an electrical standpoint? There will be simple things in the dividing wall, just a couple of switches and sockets.
Grateful for any feedback.

I will have the same amount of boxes on both sides of the wall, but I'm eager to put up the OSB as soon as possible and save the plastering for later when all the pipes/boxes are in place. Am I interpreting the answer correctly if I assume that I can install the side with the OSB boards without getting an annoyed electrician?
Place the boards on the side where most of the boxes will be. If they are an equal number, then choose the side where both OSB and gypsum will be placed.
It is significantly easier to drill boxes in an installed board, than to place boards where the boxes are already protruding!
