I have plans for an outdoor kitchen this summer, and I would like the option to close it off when not in use.

I've come up with two ideas, one is a shutter, and the other is some type of folding door that also provides a bit of a roof.

Shutters are common in Germany, where they are available in standard sizes up to 2500 mm in width. In Sweden, it seems custom measurements are required. I've found PVC versions in Germany for €300 and €400 for aluminum in the size 2500x2500 mm.

I've only seen one folding door, and I assume one would have to make something custom with lighter steel and gas springs if so. I haven't found anyone who's made one themselves yet.

Is there anything else I've missed, €400 is not a lot of money for a complete shutter, but the shipping could be expensive.
