Hello. I am a 22-year-old girl converting the attic and I've hit a roadblock and need some help. I've framed and insulated everything now except for one wall, where my chimney is, and I'm leaving the chimney as it is, but there's also chimney extending on the wall where I need to build an interior wall, and I'm not sure how I can do it... do I have to leave that part of the chimney open, or can I build a wall over that part too?
I don't know how to/can do it...
I'll send a picture so you can see what it looks like:)

Best regards, Emilia

you can dress the brick wall piece by gluing plaster with, for example, PL400 glue
